Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than a decade. She is most famous for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the character of Jerrica Jem on the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class of 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent to her admission the second time due to her Nashville part. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She appeared in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the most talented actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
